We have one of the widest selections of fresh cut flowers in all of Durham and the Triangle. In the event we do not have what you want, we’ll do everything we can to source it for you. Our signature flowers are oriental lilies and Asiatic lilies grown locally from one of the best farms in the world. We regularly have calla lilies, orchids, hydrangea, gerbera daisies, tulips and of course, a wide selection of truly long stem roses in our cooler. If you are in the neighborhood, we invite you to come in and browse for your favorite flower. If you are calling don’t be afraid to ask for the unusual. We just might have it or be in a position to get it within a few days.

You can be certain that when we say we’re creative, we are telling the truth. The Ninth Street staff strives to keep abreast of new styles, trends and techniques. Ninth Street Flowers is one of only a handful of shops in Durham to have accredited designers on staff.  If you want a contemporary, minimalist design, we can do that. If you want something in a compact European style, we do this exceptionally well. Classic, exotic, bright, cheerful, monochromatic…we do all of these and so much more.  Our website selections are representative of what we can create for you, but our ability to design custom arrangements to any specification means your choices are limited only by your imagination!

3 ~ SERVICE

We will do anything we possibly can to make your flower buying experience a happy one. After all, our success depends on your satisfaction.   But your experience does not end when you have placed your order. We are not done until the recipient of your order is unequivocally delighted. Once your order is placed with us and designed by our staff, our delivery drivers are diligent to make sure that these flowers are hand-delivered in a timely manner with your heartfelt message attached.

5 ~ LOCAL BUYING... LOCAL GIVING

Whenever possible, we buy local products. But also, because we want to support our community, we give back. The support we have received from our neighbors has allowed us to be generous with flower donations to many local charitable organizations like Duke Childrens, The Nasher Museum, Triangle Heart Association, and The March of Dimes. But we also make a habit of honoring requests from many, many small non-profits who need gift certificates or a small arrangement of flowers to help with their fundraising efforts.
