Larry and Lea Wood have called Durham, NC home since 2002. Our retail florist experience was initially that of a customer. The flower shops we visited seemed pretentious and uninviting, so much so that we started believing that grocery stores were the best place to buy fresh flowers. This experience led us to establish a full service florist shop on the philosophy of doing everything possible to make sure every customer’s experience with Ninth Street Flowers is unforgettable in all the right ways.

Our success has been built on being true to our mission – to provide the freshest flowers, inspired designs, unsurpassed service, and generous value at a fair price. Our reputation has spread as we have worked hard to build relationships with you -- our community, neighbors and friends.
